We are always up for a challenge, especially when it is for a fantastic cause. So 2 of our team jumped at the chance to be involved in The Koblenz to Norwich cycle challenge, an event organised by the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation.
Max and Oli from our Rehook team are very much in their comfort zone when riding their fixies, or working on their BMX tricks. However they have taken to the roads (and their new road bikes) for the first time to get into training for this new and exciting challenge.
'This ride will be something completely different for us, but we are so excited for the challenge and to support such a great cause' - Max Hoy, Videographer, Rehook
'Neither of us have ridden this far before so its going to be tough, but we are very much up for the challenge' - Oliver White, Designer, Rehook
From the 1st to 5th June 2022 a team of 11 will form #TeamCSF and cycle from Norwich’s twin city Koblenz to Carrow Road, stopping at famous football grounds in Germany, Holland and the U.K. along the way.
The Challenge starts in the beautiful city of Koblenz, located on the bank of the Rhine river in Germany. From there, the team embark on an epic five-day 419-mile adventure across Northern Europe. En-route, taking in a host of famous cities, including Bonn, Cologne, Eindhoven, Amsterdam and The Hague. They will be guided by experienced team leaders, and a support team that will transfer luggage, bikes and prepare refreshments along the way.
The Norwich City Community Sports Foundation use the power of sport to support and inspire their community. They are constantly driving inclusion for people with disabilities, boosting mental health and wellbeing, and supporting disadvantaged people to raise their aspirations. All the fantastic work they do and projects they set up couldn't be possible without the support from fundraising challenges such as this one. We are delighted to be supporting this great local cause.
The Koblenz to Norwich cycle challenge is aiming to raise £5000, which will be used by The Norwich City Sports Foundation to support some on its fantastic community projects.
