Frequently Asked Questions

What type of valve does Rehook AIR fit?

Rehook AIR is designed to be a versatile and universal bike pump, accommodating both Presta and Schrader valves, which are the most common valve types found on bicycle tubes. This dual functionality ensures that cyclists can use the pump with a wide range of bikes, from road and mountain bikes to hybrids and beyond, without the need for separate adapters or tools. The inclusion of both valve heads in a single pump streamlines the inflation process and simplifies the rider's toolkit.

What PSI does the Rehook AIR reach?

Rehook AIR is capable of inflating tyres up to 97 PSI, making it suitable for a variety of cycling disciplines and tyre preferences. This level of pressure covers the requirements for most road, commuter, and hybrid tyres, providing the versatility needed for both casual rides and high-performance cycling.

What are the dimensions of the Rehook AIR?

Rehook AIR is compact in size, with dimensions of 129mm in length, 49mm in width, and 21mm in thickness. This makes it small enough to fit conveniently in a pocket, a saddlebag, or attached to a bike frame, thereby ensuring it is not cumbersome to carry and is always within reach when needed. Its size is a key feature, designed to provide functionality without sacrificing portability for cyclists who need to maintain a lightweight setup.

What is the weight of the Rehook AIR?

Rehook AIR is designed to be lightweight, weighing in at just 82 grams. This makes it an ideal tool for cyclists who are conscious of the weight of their gear, as it adds minimal load to a rider’s kit. Its lightweight, combined with its compact dimensions, underscores its convenience and portability, ensuring that it can be easily taken on any ride without being a burden.

How do I attach Rehook AIR to my bike frame?

Attaching Rehook AIR to your bike frame is a straightforward process, thanks to the included frame attachment bracket and velcro security strap. Here’s how you can do it:

Locate Mounting Points: Identify the mounting points on your bike frame. These are usually located on the down tube or the seat tube of the frame.

Attach the Bracket: If your bike has existing frame bracket bolts, use these to secure the attachment bracket directly to the bike. If there are no pre-existing bolts, use the provided releasable nylon ties to fasten the bracket securely around the frame.

Secure the Pump: Once the bracket is in place, slide Rehook AIR into the bracket.

Fasten with Velcro Strap: Wrap the velcro security strap around the pump for added stability and to prevent any rattling or movement while riding.

By using the provided materials, Rehook AIR can be securely attached to your bike, ensuring it's always on hand when you need it and that it won't interfere with your ride.
